actually, my guess would be it's taken from Mount Everest, but it's just a guess. the photo file was emailed to me, and was not identified. I posted it to my own private web space, then put it into an I-frame here.
it's the most fun if you center-click for the little nav-ball, then "fly" around!
Everest is in the Himalayas.
